As an artist of the Hudson Valley I respond to my natural surroundings and pay homage to the miracle of nature. My work is an elegy to its decline. Suggesting a specific narrative, my painting oeuvre weaves together mythic histories, science, and ecology—merging archetypal forms with the body and earth’s ecology to create layered narratives with echoes of the collective unconscious and ancient belief systems.

The eternal riddle encompasses points in time, it considers decay and rejuvenation. It's innermost secret is revealed by the "OTHER" ; the spirit world, the ancestral footstep walking behind us
