“My work has always been process-oriented, and I let materials, chance and the moment direct the outcome.

I usually work with auto-lacquer aerosols, urethane, metallic paint and patinas. The elements: color, shape, texture. The techniques: use of aerosols, brushes, rags and washes. The parameters are both formal and expressionistic, veering between concept and impulse, and their fusion.

The non-objective keeps propelling me. Whether it is forward or back, I don’t care, as long as there is movement. Materials and processes, interacting with mind in the broadest sense, manifest color and form.

The process is to go inside, find it, bring it out and unify it, so that the inside and outside become one – the idea and the material.”
